Trump Decertifies Iranian Nuclear Deal

The Iran Nuclear Deal is something Trump frequently tackled on the campiagn trail. “The worst deal ever negotiated”.

Fox News Reports:

The Iran nuclear deal framework – officially the “Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action” – was a historic agreement reached by Iran and several world powers, including the U.S., in 2015, under Barack Obama’s presidency.

In part, the deal was made to reduce Iran’s ability to produce two components used in making nuclear weapons: plutonium and uranium. In return, crippling economic sanctions on Iran were to be abated.

Every pathway to a nuclear weapon is cut off,” Obama said at the time. “This deal is not built on trust. It is built on verification.”Every pathway to a nuclear weapon is cut off,” Obama said at the time. “This deal is not built on trust. It is built on verification.”

To summarize, Iran was given approximately $150 Billion so they could be restricted from using nuclear weapons. It’s not only President Trump; other republicans like Ted Cruz have also approved the decision to completely remove the United States from the Iranian nuclear deal. That’s like bribing someone to keep them from killing people. Sounds stupid, right?

President Trump and his administration are currently reviewing the deal and plan to make a decision to completely pull out of the deal.

This is another promise kept from the campaign trail.
