Even as Christians, we like to make any excuse to not go to church. You’re too tired, you don’t want to wake up early, you got to do something else, you don’t have time etc. We claim “I don’t need to go to church to get saved!”. Although very true, attending church is a big part of living a christian life. It strengthens us and encourages us. We are wiser and more spiritual. Christ did die for us but he also died for the church.
“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it” – Ephesians 5:25
Our World Today
In a nation where every day it looks like this world is becoming a more darker and immoral place. Homosexuality is accepted as the norm. Nobody knows what gender they are anymore. People in their own conscience had no problem voting for the most corrupt individual to run for office. White people are hated. We are mistaking good for evil and evil for good!
“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20
Why Jesus And Church Are The Medicine
When you surround yourself with ‘like-minded’ believers, whether it’s football or talking about plants, you grow with those people and become wiser about that subject. Same goes with church. People are growing together, knowing about the Lord, knowing right from wrong, putting their trust in Jesus Christ etc. At church, we are more motivated to open our bible and read. You never know what church service you’re going to need to hear. To save your marriage, to help you financially, and the list goes on and on. Make time for church! Jesus died for the church! He wants to see you there.
